Prayer for Stronger Faith in Spiritual Warfare

HB4116

Dear Lord,

Thank you Lord for all of Your active promises in the Word for they are my shield of faith. Thank You that I pray & believe, ask & receive, and I won’t be discouraged. Help me to keep a list of my experience with You so I can quickly recall Your work in my life when discouragement does begin to creep in. Help me use my faith as a shield, my faith comes through Your Word and I pray You keep a hunger in my heart & mind to build that desire more & more. Lord I want more fellowship with You, this builds my faith too. Through prayer I bring my shield of faith into action. Dear God help me use my faith so I am moving forward with holy confidence, courage, growing, and with hopeful anticipation for what comes next.

Protect me Lord from fear, worry, guilt, and perceived failure. Help me move forward even when my faith is small. I am willing to be obedient to You God. My faith works because it is directly connected to Your faithfulness. God please help me remember that my faith gives me access to what You intend to do for me. I trust You God!

I know where all Your truths are and that is where I support my faith. I will use my faith responsibly. I will be obedient but ask you to help me Lord be patient.  Please God never let me get hung up and not seek you. I don’t want to get stuck and rush things that are not your will either. I will not fear, I will trust! Thank you for the good things You have in store for me as I walk in Your purpose for my life, my hope is in You and those hopes are secure in Your faithfulness. I am not afraid because, Lord, You are with me!

In Jesus Name I Pray!!!
Let It Be!!!!
AMEN!!!!

God Is Faithful! So I can be Faith Filled!

“O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You. I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” Isaiah 25:1

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

“But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.”
2 Thessalonians 3:3

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound min.
2 Timothy 1:7

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer & supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

“Know therefore that the Lord Your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands.” Deuteronomy 7:9

“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

Ephesians 6:10-20, read it today! Read it tomorrow! Priscilla Shirer’s, The Armor of God, Bible study had such an impact on me. I guess that is why I keep writing the prayer strategies I came up with during my time in that study. This was the fifth one I wrote on the shield of faith. It gave me a whole new perspective and a whole new confidence that I can be successful in the daily battles I face.

I believe in the God of the Bible and that Jesus is His Son who died on the cross at Calvary for the sins of the world. This free gift is for you and for me, if we accept that fact by faith and strive daily to follow His Living Word that is the same today, yesterday, and forever. Also, for the record, I love my boyfriend whom I have been married to for going on 18 years. We have two boys that are both in high school, which is taught at home by yours truly. Cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks, peacocks, song birds, coyotes, raccoons, opossums, all call our yard home and I have a story about all of them. I am originally from Kentucky, with deep roots in Eastern Kentucky's Appalachian Mountains. I grew up in a working class suburb of Lexington, Kentucky. I am married to a quiet feller from Birmingham, Alabama. We met in Tampa, FL, married, had two kids and moved to California. From there we landed in Alabama for a few years and then by the providence of God we moved to our little piece of heaven in Georgia where we live in a white house, on a little hill, in the rocky foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I have some things I think I might want to write that maybe someone might want to read... mostly stories and experiences of my own and a few I can relay from second hand knowledge but none with great confidence, pride, or true story telling ability, just overthought ramblings that I quickly need to capture before I forget.
