Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for instilling Your righteousness in me when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit that guides the growth of that right living in me through the understanding of Your truth. Thank You God for the protection the Holy Spirit gives me in my growth. Please God keep my mind aligned with Your expectations. Please forgive me as I stumble through this growth in You. When I step off the path bring it to my attention quickly so that I can fall instep again and learn. Mold me Holy Spirit! Reveal anything in my heart that might give a foot hold to the enemy so I can confess and repent of it.
No one is good, for sure not me. Only God, You are perfect. All my over reaching struggles to appear all together are futile. I can not compare my walk with the Lord to others. I thank You God for the blood of Jesus and old things have passed away, new things have come. Lord help me practice righteousness. Help me make a conscious effort to act in a way that is consistent with my life in Christ. Renew my mind, realign my passions, attitudes, and give me strength to live in a way that is pleasing to You God. Keep me focused on my spiritual health Lord, keep my soul operating in alignment with Your heart. Continue my growth in You. Help me recognize Your true convictions vs the enemies false condemnations.
In Jesus Name I pray,
Amen
“Stand firm then, with the belt of truth, buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,” Ephesians 6:14
“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13
I will continue to study Ephesians 6:10-20. I can not say enough how I enjoyed Priscilla Shirer’s, The Armor of God, Bible study. This was my third prayer strategy I developed after week three on the breastplate of righteousness. This is truly life applicable and needed resources in our daily Christian walk.
